Simon the Sorcerer began in the 90s as a classic point-and-click adventure series and gained a cult following for its witty writing and charm. Simon the Sorcerer Origins is the 30th anniversary revival of Britain’s original boy wizard and serves as a modern prequel, reintroducing the world, characters, and tone to new audiences while respecting the style adored by longtime fans.

We knew that our favourite sarcastic sorcerer was in good hands with Italian developer Smallthing Studios, who have gone on to win awards for their work on the franchise. But Simon is less well-known outside of Europe, so we also had the challenge of introducing him to the Americas and beyond.

The response was magical. We built a steady campaign of trailers and press releases, targeting influencers, streamers and gaming sites alongside TV, radio, magazines and newspapers. Targeted previews were run in conjunction with IGN.de, HobbyConsolas (ES), V2 (FI), VGC (UK), Videochum (US), and Oyungezer(TR).

Our campaign in numbers:

* 800+ review and coverage codes REQUESTED by the media
* 300+ One-to-one pitches to carefully selected outlets
* 1,400+ coverage links generated in a 4-month period
* 30+ developer interviews completed

Simon the Sorcerer Origins is a beautiful homage to the golden age of graphic adventures, unafraid to embrace their more "hardcore" side while giving them a fresh visual style.
