March 21st 2026 – Deck13 Spotlight and Argonwood are happy to announce that The Pilgrim War, the official DLC for the praised turn-based strategy game Rising Lords has now been released on Steam and Good Old Game. The DLC will hit Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch upon release later in the year. The Pilgrim War expands the world of Rising Lords and adds a completely new nation to the game, including also a new story campaign for experienced veterans. New Maps and Science Options offer more depth than ever before.

About Argonwood
Argonwood is an independent game development studio based in Cologne, Germany. Working across a range of unfashionable genres, they look to shake up stagnant game mechanics and infuse them with fresh new ideas.
The core team consists of brothers Chris and Manu Fernholz, a programmer and an artist who have been designing games their whole lives.
