Publisher Parco Games and developer Lidlocks are pleased to announce that their cozy interactive adventure Finding Polka will be launching on Steam on 12 August 2026. This heartwarming, hand-drawn adventure, inspired by the quiet magic of everyday life in Japan, invites players to wander and wonder their way through a gentle hide-and-seek journey in search of a very special four-legged companion.
Friendy enjoys a peaceful life alongside her beloved sausage dog Jazz. On one of their customary strolls through town, the pair spot a chunky Frenchie that looks just like Jazz’s childhood dog, Polka. Before they even realise it, Friendy and Jazz begin chasing after this piece of the past.
Created by Japanese solo developer Shinnosuke Kumazawa, Finding Polka blends slice-of-life storytelling with surreal touches, nostalgic ballpoint-pen illustrations, and an almost canine sense of curiosity. The game is a passionate love-letter to his own late dog, whose spirit lives on in Polka’s paw prints.
